GENERAL CONCEPT

The NCU system is designed to have some core garments that will always be worn, and then the user will select reinforcement garments either under or on top of the basic configuration depending on the climatic condition and the mission profile.

The soldier should always wear Layer 0 (except t-shirt), and Layer 2A Trousers in combination with combat shirt or jacket.

Based on the preference of use, the soldier will reinforce this basic configuration with either more underwear or protective outer layers.
